Reading Logs
There are TWO separate reading logs to use, for different reasons.
You won't be using both on any one assignment.
If you're reading but NOT doing a book project, reading anything, you can earn points toward CREDIT by completing a READING LOG. This will earn you points in your gradebook toward English credit, no matter what it is you're reading. Exception: if you're reading for a book project, do the OTHER reading log.
If you're doing a Book Project (fiction or non-fiction), your points toward credit will come when you finish the whole project, all steps. The points are built in. However, since we count ASSIGNMENTS each day/week, if you want to be recognized for doing the reading (but no points), then complete the READING TALLY. You will not get points toward credit here (until you turn in the project later), but you will get assignments credited to you.
