Oklahoma City Public Schools (OKCPS) prioritizes student data protection, adhering to federal regulations like FERPA and COPPA. As a member of 1EdTech, OKCPS is dedicated to fostering a secure and innovative digital learning environment.
To ensure alignment with district and state goals, safeguard student data, and optimize digital tools, OKCPS has established a comprehensive review process for all digital content and services. This includes:
Content and Services Delivered Digitally: Any digital materials or services, regardless of delivery method, or cost (free/paid).
Software for Business Automation: Any software intended to streamline departmental or workgroup processes.
Hosted Systems: Systems residing on district servers or cloud platforms.
Before procurement, all digital content, services, and tools must undergo a rigorous review process.
OKCPS strongly recommends adherence to the district's Interoperability Expectations to facilitate smooth and secure integration of digital solutions.
All software purchases will include Terms and Conditions, therefore they will need to be submitted in Ironclad. Start your TPR first, since its approval is required in Ironclad and the purchasing process.
