The correct answer is H 3511.35

(Note that there are 11 circles in the ones column, so you have to regroup)

Wednesday's Answer

1) 18 +19 x 4 - 3 =

= 18 + 76 - 3

= 94 - 3

= 91

2) (14 + 2 ) x 13 + 5 =

= $10.60

4)

Tuesday's Answer

1) 12 - 6 x 2 + 17 =

Step #1: 6 x 2 = 12, so 12 - 12 + 17

Step #2: 12 - 12 = 0, so 0 + 17

Step #3: 0 + 17 = 17

The correct answer is 17

2) 8 - 12 ÷ 2 + 13 =

Step #1: 12 / 2 = 6, so 8 - 6 + 13

Step #2: 8 - 6 = 2, so 2 + 13

Step #3: 2 + 13 = 15

The correct answer is 15

3) ( 9 + 21 ) ÷ ( 8 - 3 ) =

Step #1: 9 + 21 = 30, so 30 / (8 - 3)

Step #2: 8 - 3 = 5, so 30 / 5

Step #3: 30 / 5 = 6

The correct answer is 6

4)

Volume = L x W x H

2 m x 2.5 m x 0.5 m = 2.5 m^3

The correct answer is c 2.5 m^3

Monday's Answer

1) Which number is the correct answer to this number sentence: 15 – 6 × 2 + 18 ÷ 3 =

a 7 b 9 c 12 d 24

Step #1: 6 x 2 = 12, so 15 - 12 + 18 / 3

Step #2: 18 / 3 = 6, so 15 - 12 + 6

Step #3: 15 - 12 = 3, so 3 + 6

Step #4: 3 + 6 = 9

The correct answer is b 9

2)

The correct answer is c Dennis, as the first step is 21 / 7.

3)

You could solve this problem by continuing the straight line until you reach 16 tokens on the Y-axis, and then see where you are on the x axis.

However, that is difficult to do on the computer.

Another method is to make a T-chart and use the pattern.

You can see from the table that the it takes 8 tasks to earn 16 tokens.

The correct answer is b 8.
