Ratio Review and Rates Introduction (Please Watch)
Apples to Apples - Remember when dealing with different units to always change them to the same unit:
For example: Which is cheaper?
Bag A - 6 kg for $2.00 or Bag B - 3600 g for $2.40
Bag A - Change 6 kg to 6 000 g or 6 000 g for $2
Next, 6 000 g divided by $2.00 = 3000
So, Bag A is 3 000 g per $1.00
B - 3 600 g divided by $ 2.40 = 1 500
So, Bag B is 1 500 g per $1.00
So, Bag A is cheaper as it gives you 3 000 g per dollar, while Bag B only gives you 1 500 g per dollar.
