Update - February 8 Band Concert!!

Post date: Jan 7, 2021 1:45:00 PM

I am excited to share that the band will be able to perform and share our music with families at a concert on Monday, February 8 at the High School Performing Arts Center (Auditorium)!!

We will be using the same protocols as the middle school and high school concerts (they have had several performances where they split their groups into 3 separate concerts). The stage can seat and distance 50 students which is the size of the three combined classes.

6:00 PM 1st concert (Pelzer, Ramthun, Anderson)

6:45 PM 2nd concert (Kramer, Krichau, Hollingsworth)

7:30 PM 3rd concert (Bohlender, Rench, Clouse)

Each concert would last approximately 20 minutes - giving us time to clean seats, transition audience members and make parking more available between groups.

Audience Seating

**** There has been a change in the state's policy on attendance at events****

The student that is performing can have 2 guests OR all the members of their immediate family (members that live in the household).

Masks are still required as soon as you arrive and until you leave.

Seating will be every other row which puts them 6 feet apart. Spectators must sit by family groups and leave the middle 4 seats open in each row. This will assure 6 ft is clear in all directions for spectators. We are going to limit the seating to the floor, no balcony seating.

The concert will also be live streamed - recorded and available on Youtube for friends and family to view. Type in Norwalk Warriors Productions and you will be able to click on the live performance link.

I will send out more details when the date gets closer about when to arrive, where to enter/exit and what students should wear. I am grateful that we are able to safely perform for a live audience on the stage! These kids are ready to shine!!
