Dates for Homo naledi

We have not discussed Homo naledi much in this class because it is still unclear where this recently described hominin fits in the picture of human evolution. Well, that picture became much clearer yesterday, when the first dates for Homo naledi were announced. It is surprisingly recent, only 200,000-300,000 years old. Read more about it in this article.
