Install Software

Preinstallation Tasks:

1. Ensure that your computer meets the minimum requirements.

2. The software is shipped without a compatible Viewer software. See this list for compatible Viewers.

Setup Instructions:

1. Install the driver software for your camera 

1.a. For Basler cameras install:Basler Pylon Camera Driver (In the setup wizard, select "USB3" and "camera user")

1.b. For Basler PowerPack for Microscopy cameras download the latest software and driver package here

1.c. For Lumenera cameras: install from Lumenera disk or download the latest driver here and the latest Infinity Analyze software here.

1.d. For IDS cameras: download this zip file and open it. Run the contained uEye64_48202_WHQL.exe. If you are asked to extract all files, you can choose "run". After preparing the installation, the installer will ask you for a setup type. Choose Option 3: USB. 

1.e. For PointGrey(FLIR) cameras install: FlyCap2Viewer_2.10.3.169_x64.exe

        Important notes for installing the PointGrey camera driver:

        - select USB camera driver only

        - after selecting USB cameras, there are two checkboxes checked. Please uncheck the USBPro option.

2. Install the scanning software

2.a. If you have a *lic22 license file, download and install https://get.microvisioneer.com/mwsi2022/fast/setup.exe

2.b. If you have a *lic20 license file, https://get.microvisioneer.com/mwsi2021/default/setup.exe 

2.c. If you have a *lic18 license file, download the latest manualWSI 2019 setup from https://get.microvisioneer.com/mwsi2019/fast/setup.exe 

2.d. If you only have a *license file for 2017 version, download it here: https://get.microvisioneer.com/mwsi2017/fast/setup.exe

3. After setup completion, the software will start automatically and ask to provide a valid license file

4. To start the software, click the manualWSI icon created on the desktop
