iUSE Tech

In an effort to ensure MDUSD teachers are supported with the integrating technology into their classrooms, the Ed Tech Team has developed the iUSE Tech cycle of support shown on the left. The diagram illustrates the cycle our Ed Tech Team go through with teachers they work with. The cycle begins with the Initiating phase, where teachers take a workshop or new ed tech training. Next, the Ed Tech Team will support the Use of the new technology in teachers' classrooms by co-teaching with them, doing demonstration lessons or helping the teacher plan for the use of new technology in their classroom. To help Sustain the use of the new technology, the Team will continue to provide support until the teacher is independently using the new tech. Finally, the teachers are asked to provide Evidence of this new ed tech integration by sharing selected student work with the Ed Tech Team.
