Coding is an exciting way to expand technology use in the classroom. Where students are creating pictures on code.org or learning coding to program Spheros, coding is definitely the hot new thing. • Classroom Coding Resources - Huge Padlet filled with resources and coding ideas.
• Google and MIT team up to get more kids interested in programming - Interesting read about Scratch Blocks, a combined effort with Scratch, MIT's amazing coding app, and Google.
• MDUSD's own Karly Moura, Teacher on Special Assignment at Sun Terrace Elementary, has created a great Introduction to Coding hyperdoc.
• Another great resource is Brian Briggs' website on coding.
