The Chrome Browser offers many features that enhance your browsing experience. All Google products work better in Chrome. In addition, Chrome extensions extend the functionality of the browser with specific tasks or tools. Chrome apps are applications that run on the Chrome browser.
Chrome Extensions
One of the great things about using the Google Chrome browser is that you can add extensions to it that provide quick, additional functionality to your Chrome browser for learning such as: Recording your voice, editing pictures, screen captures, screencast, annotation and more.
If you go to the Chrome Web Store and search for the extension you want, click on "Free” then click on "Add to Chrome". The extension and it will be added to your Chrome browser below your browser tabs like this:
Chrome Apps
When using the Google Chrome browser, you can add Apps to it that provide quick access to some helpful tools such as photo editing, video editing, cartoon creation, and many more. If you go to the Chrome Web Store and search for the App you want, click on "Free” then click on "Add to Chrome". The app will be added to your Apps rainbow nine-square found on your browser in the upper left like this:
