G-Suite (formerly Google Apps for Education, GAFE) is a free suite of productivity apps from Google. G-Suite allows students under the age of 13 the ability to use the internet in a safe and secure way.
Google Drive is the lynchpin of the Google. It is an online storage and synchronization service that enables sharing and collaborative editing of files created in the Google Apps office suite, which includes documents, spreadsheets, presentations, forms, and more.
There are 6 main apps in G-Suite:
Google Classroom is a stand-alone app that works in conjunction with the other Google Apps. It is an amazing tool for teachers and students.

We have support for Getting Started with logging into our MDUSD Google domain for the first time.
All students have a MDUSD Google account and information to help them login can be found on our Student MDUSD Google Accounts page. For new students to our district, we must create a MDUSD Google account. Google accounts are created based on the Network ID generated by Aeries and will be uploaded to Google by the TIS department. Student usernames can be found in Aeries on the Demographics page under the Student Data 2 tab in the Network ID field.

Google Apps User Group is an independent site that contains resources for implementing and using Google Apps, news from the Google blogs, links to schools that use Google Apps, a discussion forum, and more. All users are encouraged to share resources, ideas, questions, and comments.
