Committee Type: Advisory
Committee Description: The NCAE Committee recommends policies related to noncredit instruction and issues, seeks information regarding noncredit issues and informs faculty, and brings matters of noncredit issues to the Academic Senate seeking resolution to advance noncredit instruction.
The Committee currently oversees an Allocation Subcommittee that meets in March and is selected from among Noncredit Adult Education Committee (NCAE) Committee members. The Subcommittee consists of at least six faculty from the diverse noncredit programs elected by the faculty members of the Committee and two administrators, appointed by the Associate Vice Chancellor for Workforce and Economic Development and Centers. The Subcommittee members serve two-year terms on the Subcommittee.
