Committee Description of Purpose and Goals:
Recommends to the Academic Senate policies related to academic and professional matters not within the purpose and function of the Curriculum Committee.
Deliberates on any issues referred to it by the Academic Senate and/or serves at the Senate’s request or at the chair’s (or co-chairs’) discretion as a technical review for other committees’ recommendations.
Promotes clear, fair, equitable, education-related policies that are Ed. Code, Title 5, and ACCJC-compliant and that support and improve student learning.
