What is VR?
A system of motion-tracking infrared base stations, controllers, and a headset
With advanced programming it allows you to visit, interact, and create in a virtual space
You will be using an HTC Vive Pro 2 with SteamVR to launch games
If you want to use the VR, you must promise to follow these rules:
Setting Up
Grab a cleaning wipe and wipe down the headset face mask, nose piece, earpads, and controllers
Turn on the
LINK BOX
Unplug and turn on controllers (hold the button by the charging light until it beeps and turns
GREEN
)
Open SteamVR in the top right of the desktop
Once all parts show up
BLUE

open Car Mechanic VR
Put on the headset
Use the teleport tool instead of walking around
Cleaning Up
TURN OFF THE LINK BOX
Hang up the headset on the 2 middle hooks
Plug in controllers and hang blue straps on outer hooks
turn on link box
SteamVR all parts
are
blue

HOW TO SAVE:
Once you create a profile and are in your garage, open the tablet > More Options > Save Game
Running a Mechanic Shop
Use the
phone
to pick which damaged car to work on
Check the
car status
to see what the customer complained about for you to take off
Click the
stars
in the
broken part list
to highlight where these parts are located in the car
Buy new replacement parts from the mechanic's
computer
and
reinstall
them!

with the tutorial to finish your first/second car

Skim through the tutorial again, reminding yourself of the tools and how the program works

Get as many cars fixed as possible!
