Honey Sales-- November 2

Post date: Dec 22, 2019 9:09:27 PM

On Saturday, November 2, the Kearney High Future Business Leaders of America participated in Honey Sunday. Our members sold honey at various locations around Kearney on behalf of The Arc of Buffalo County. The Arc of Buffalo County is a private non-profit organization that provides services and advocacy to people with developmental disabilities and their families. They are committed to helping children and adults with developmental disabilities secure the opportunity to choose and realize their goals of where and how they live, learn, work, and play. During two shifts, while in teams of two, FBLA members were stationed across town. Not only did they sell local, organic, Nebraska honey, but they also made sure to inform and advocate for the organization and their goals. This year’s Honey Sunday marked the 55th annual anniversary of the event and our members are glad to have participated.
