On this day we had a guest speaker by the name of Stephanie Riley. Ms. Riely graduated UNL in 2011 with a degree in psychology, and she has been doing business from a young age. She works in a managing position at Culver's here in town and has been in several other managing positions. Small business is something she is also very passionate about as small businesses make up 44 percent of our GDP. They also create jobs, inspire innovation, and grant financial independence to many people. What Ms. Riley has learned from leading so much is that to be a good leader one has to provide reasons why they are qualified to be in a leading position. A person also has to try their best to connect with their colleagues and lead by demonstrating what to do as an example to the rest.
