FBLA had a very fun and eventful meeting this week. The meeting began with a member of the Arc of Buffalo County's team, Emilia Rodgers, giving a speech about community service opportunities in the Kearney area. Activities such as Bowling Buddies and Honey Sunday were all given as options of services that FBLA memebrs could help with to better the community. Later in the night, to celebrate American Enterprise Day, FBLA members took part in a Shark Tank activity. They were all given time to come up with an idea for a new product and pitch that they would then share to the advisers. At the end of the night, the advisers chose their favorite pitch which ended up being "Quick Carver" a kid-friendly pumpkin carving tool.
