OWW YouTube Videos for Kids

You can make some serious money on YouTube if you get people to view your videos. My nephew sometimes watches videos about counting for over an hour at a time. He is four and loves numbers. When I saw this video I was shocked at how this low quality video has over 2 million views. From what I have seen on the internet, YouTube will pay you $1 for every 1,000 views if you are a partner.

Essential Questions

-What makes videos appealing to kids?

-How can you make money by making videos for YouTube?

How to become a YouTube Partner (from their website):

  • You create original videos suitable for online streaming.

  • You own or have express permission to use and monetize all audio and video content that you upload—no exceptions.

  • You regularly upload videos that are viewed by thousands of YouTube users, or you publish popular or commercially successful videos in other ways (such as DVDs sold online).

  • In evaluating applications, we look at various factors including but not limited to the popularity of the user's videos, number of subscribers, the user's involvement with the YouTube community, and the user's track record of compliance with the YouTube terms of service.
