Deliverables
1- Instrument (Each group chooses one): Electric Guitar Pickup (Challenge), Tubophone (you may have to provide materials), Xylophone, Piano, or Cigar Box Guitar (you may have to provide materials)
2- Poster: (8.5" X 11"", done in Photoshop, resolution 100dpi, one per group, solid background, picture of your instrument, how does your instrument create sound, how does your instrument change it's frequency)
3- Half Page Study Guide (1 per group of 2): This is something you can give out during exhibition to make learning about your instrument fun. You must make and distribute one of the following: Crossword puzzle, fill in the blank notes, or a word find.
4- Performance piece: Each group of two will find an easily recognizable song, transcribe the music, and be able to teach the audience how to play the song
5- Digital Portfolio Page: Each group will create a Digital Portfolio Page that each member can link to. The page must include the following:
-Concept Poster (11"X 17", done in Photoshop, one per group, diagram with labels, description of how the instrument makes sound, equations used to calculate lengths)
-Project description (Explain the purpose of this project, the process of completion, and the final product you created)
-Reflection (one per student)
-Essay
