The Elementary Pathway Lead teacher will take Grade 8 students through the process of putting their course selections into myBlueprint.
Course selections should be based on the individual students interests, ambitions, learning style and goals. In order for this to happen, students should speak with their teachers and parents/guardians when selecting courses.

Login to myBlueprint username: schoolusername@gotvdsb.ca and school password
This guide helps navigate myBlueprint to choose and submit courses
Print the sign off sheet from myBlueprint and submit to your grade 8 teacher - February 13, 2026
If applying from out-of-area please complete and email the following form to (h.heming@tvdsb.ca) by Friday, February 13, 2026 at 12 pm.: Out of Area Application form

Complete Online Pre-registration Tool OR print, complete and email the Student Registration Form to h.heming@tvdsb.ca - due Friday, February 13, 2026 at 12 pm.
Select Courses by printing, circling and emailing the Course Selection Form to h.heming@tvdsb.ca - due Friday, February 13, 2026 at 12 pm.
Provide proof of address via email (e.g. copy of a utility bill, phone bill, rental agreement, etc.)
Provide proof of citizenship via email (e.g. copy of passport, birth certificate, permanent residence)
If applying from out-of-area please complete and email the following form to h.heming@tvdsb.ca: Out-of-Area Application form- due Friday, February 13, 2026 at 12 pm.

Submitting course selections with myBlueprint is easy! Follow these simple steps to submit your course selections for Grade 9.

During this time period, students will be asked to verify the courses they have selected. At this point, students have an opportunity to make any necessary changes to their Grade 9 Course Selection.

Summer School Registration
Registration is now open for TVDSB's New Credit eLearning Summer Program. Our new credit eLearning courses are open to TVDSB students registered for grade 9 at a TVDSB high school in September 2026. The New Credit eLearning Program runs from July 2 to July 30, 2026. Registration is open from March until June , 2026.

Incoming Grade 8’s visit Huron Park and sit in on grade 9 classes and participate in other activities to to help them become familiar with their new school.
July/August - Community Service
July/August - Community Service
Once you have completed grade 8, you may begin to accumulate your 40 hours of community involvement that is a secondary school graduation requirement. The summer immediately following grade 8 is great opportunity to get this graduation requirement out of the way. Be sure to check the Volunteer section of the website to obtain the necessary forms and information about eligible community involvement activities.
Get a head start on Grade 9 with two days of tips, hints and skills!
High School Here I Come! is a non-credit summer program for Grade 8 students who are starting at a TVDSB high school in September 2023. Students will be provided with a variety of learning skills and strategies designed to help them with their transition to secondary school.
Topics that will be discussed:
The reality of High School
Academic expectations and study skills
Getting and staying organized
Getting involved in the school community
Literacy and Numeracy learning skills
For Summer 2026 the High School Here I Come! program will be delivered on site over two days.
Once registered, students will be scheduled to attend the program Monday, August 17 and Tuesday 18, 2026 OR Wednesday, August 19 and Thursday 20, 2026. Parents will receive communication prior to the start of the program to let them know the dates their child is scheduled to attend.
For Summer 2026, registration for High School Here I Come! will be completed through myBlueprint.
Registration Closes: Wednesday August 5, 2026 at noon
