Ag Mechanics

Ag Mechanics courses help prepare students for a variety of careers. These include: mechanic, welder, service technician, landscaper, groundskeeper, farmer, and many more!

Ag Mechanics Classes

Foundations of Agriscience & Technology

Students focus on the four main concentrations within the AgriScience and Technology program (Animal Science, Plant Science, Natural Resources and Agricultural Mechanics & Engineering) as well as current industry standard practices.

Outdoor Power Equipment 

This course focuses on safely utilizing common landscaping equipment

Equipment System & Repairs 

This course covers such topics as plumbing, small engines, welding, hydraulics, electricity, and carpentry. The Outdoor Power Equipment class is a prerequisite for this course.

In our mechanics shop we currently have a small wood working area, plasma cutting, oxy-acetylene, MIG and Stick welding capabilities, garden tractor, a compact bucket tractor, compact bucket/backhoe tractor, engine repair stations, and a multitude of other mechanical opportunities.

We look forward to adding more courses to this pathway in the coming years!
