Oklahoma (March 2013 ISCP)
Description: Create a crossover youth dataset that can be used for research on program and policy effectiveness.
Update (2015): OK Department of Human Services, Office of Juvenile Affairs, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, and Department of Corrections signed a multi-agency data-sharing agreement, and has begun convening a data-sharing guiding coalition. The coalition has met monthly since June 2013. The Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. The Capstone Project has supported the work of the Road to Independence Network two-year planning grant.

St. Paul, Minnesota (2012 ISCP)
Description: The proposed project will expand the infrastructure of Minn-LInK (e.g., integration of additional data, expanding and maintaining codebooks for new and existing data, developing ready-to-use datasets and tools for efficient utilization), create and pilot the Minn-LInK Fellowship Program to prepare future researchers for cross-system research on child well-being, and organize a community of researchers comprised of Minn-LInK Fellows, university faculty and researchers, and members of the advisory board.
Update (2015): Kristine surveyed key stakeholders to assess the general awareness of Minn-LInK, perceptions of its utility, and satisfaction with various aspects of the project. A second survey will be administered in summer of 2016 as a post-project comparison. Based on the first survey findings, she has been working to improve Minn-LInK. For example, she has met with multiple state agencies to discuss information sharing, and the agencies have agreed to share (bold fonts are new data that wasn't shared before):
Education: academic records, student disciplinary data, science assessment, standardized test records, GED data.
Corrections: adult incarceration data.
Human Services: Medicaid data for research on Autism Spectrum Disorder, child protection records, children's mental health records.
State Court Administrator's Office: Juvenile Justice court records on a study-specific basis.

Iowa (2010 MSI - Private)
Description: Create inter-agency computer case management system, with a focus on tracking and ensuring the timely recording and transmission of academic records, thereby enhancing academic transition for youth.
Update (2012): Siouxland Human Investment Partnership (SHIP) secured a grant from the Department of Health and Human Services in 2011 and have began to develop a technological solution for agencies to share academic records for youth in transition. A MOU will be signed between collaboration partners, and a pilot project with two school districts will begin testing the new policies and procedures and utilizing the software.
