Ms. Erdi

Students come down to the STEM lab with their class during some of their math/science periods.  They work in teams to extend what they are learning in science with a hands-on engineering design challenge.  

Challenge Examples:

3rd Grade:

• Tall castle for a Mickey Mouse stuffed animal out of index cards

• Magnetized games

• House that can withstand rain, hail, and a tornado

4th Grade:

• Marble maze

• Confetti launcher

• Animal that has adaptations that can protect itself from predators

5th Grade:

• Catapult

• Roller coaster

• Irrigation system
