Fourth graders  in room 102 are expected to complete homework every Monday-ThursdayPer the district there is no homework for the first 20 days.    It is my belief that homework provides students the opportunity to apply/reinforce information they have learned and to develop independence as well as lifelong study habits.  These assignments should leave enough time for your child to participate in family or extra-curricular activities, relax after a day of hard work, or explore their own hobbies.

Homework will not be graded, but will be marked as complete or incomplete on the parent portal for you to stay informed.

EVERY NIGHT your child should:

~complete 1 assigned math page: circled problems on the front & back  (If no problems are circled please reach out to me for specific numbers to complete)

~ Read a "good fit" book for 20 minutes.

~Practice multiplication and/or division facts on XtraMath

**Monday through Thursday your child may have additional homework to support our in class concepts/skills instruction.   This could include practicing vocabulary, grammar, or reading concepts in addition to studying for upcoming tests or quizzes. Study guides will be sent home the week prior to the assessment.
