Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Newest 9 coil Prototype Created and Tested (Works Well for 4 positions, still decouples at high speeds, doesn't reach 1500 RPM yet)
Tested ABS Dissolving method in which a coil was spooled on an ABS bobbin while being coated with gorilla glue and was then dissolved in acetone leaving only the coil
This method would shave off 1mm off of the total height of the coil, allowing us either 1mm off the height of the module or 1mm of extra coil for a stronger magnetic field
Finally got Hiperco 50 super alloy annealed
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Water Jet Cut new Magnetic Core plates out of 1018 Low-Carbon Steel
Had Bobbins Lathed out of Soft Magnetic Iron
Created New 9 Coil Prototype
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.

Bobbin flexing during spooling
Print on a Projet with stiffer material
Print thick bobbins with a break away material or sand down after spooling
Go with a symmetrical design
Battery powered module can be 8 mm thick
Any space in housing that doesn't have a component should be solid
Design channels through that solid space for cables

Risks and Areas of Concern
Concerned that we may not be able to get enough magnetic field using the 5V available on the Microcontroller boards
Battery Life - Should be enough to get 8 hours of life, if we can generate enough magnetic field with only 260mA.
