Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Items were ordered to continue development, we're waiting on a lot of stuff
Wires, so we can try different size wires
Raspberry Pi, so we can control the stirrer
Iron, so we can make cores and plates
Extra coils were printed
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Ordered many items from online vendors.
Completed Individual analysis
Completed Design Proposal Presentation
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Complete segments of the final report. - Everyone
Do basic Raspberry Pi code, to control coils. - Jordan
CAD model of stirrer. - Siddarth
Make iron cores. - Edward and Nick

5 April 2017 - In person
Suggested looking into cooling materials to disperse heat from the coils.
Still need to see if this is necessary after using bigger wires. Bigger wires may reduce the heat enough that cooling materials are not required.
Using fans is impossible due to size and sealing requirements.
Can calculate temperature of coils by measuring current in them and voltage across them.
Will look into doing this
Gold wire wouldn't really gain us anything other than expense.
Right, silver wire would be slightly better than copper, but probably wouldn't be worth it. Copper is good enough.

Risks and Areas of Concern
Making the iron plates is still an area of concern, we don't quite know how to do it, but we'll make it work.
Making the Rapberry Pi fit into the size requirements is still a big question.
Resources or Information Required but not Available
None.
