Sumo / Tug-of-War / Dragster Challenge 2013

On December 10, 2013, the Davie County middle schools came together at Shady Grove Elementary School to compete in three events. Sumo, where two "remote controlled" robots go head to head trying to flip over or push the other robot out of a 4' diameter raised ring. The tug-of war, in which one robot attempts to pull the opposing robot off the table and into a catch net. The dragster, where two robots compete side by side to get to the end of a 12' foot track the quickest.
