SchoolNet Troubleshooting

STEP 1

Problem: If students log-in through PowerSchool and click the link to SchoolNet and get a white screen or just spins.

Solution: Only give it a minute or two, then close the tab and click SchoolNet link again - Try this two more times.

STEP 2

Problem: Student continues to have difficulties logging in to SchoolNet

Solution: Completely close browser and open a new browser and try again. Sometimes switching to FireFox from Chrome or visa versa helps.

*May even go an extra step by clearing history in the browser.

STEP 3

Problem: If students log-in through PowerSchool and click the link to SchoolNet and get a message that says “Our Apologies…” or attempted solution above with no success.

Solution: Close out, open a new web window, and type in the following web address: http://homebase.schoolnet.com. This opens a “back door” way to access SchoolNet. You will need to choose “Davie” as the district, and then log in as a student.

If you have any problems, please contact one of the following individuals if a student gets locked out:

Data Manager at your school

John Marshall at 1018

Karen Jimeson at 1099

Erin Foil at 1098

**Your technology facilitator does not have the ability to unlock student accounts.

Schoolnet: Schoolnet's Instructional Management Suite (IMS) enables districts to improve student achievement and drive efficiencies by bringing together all of your district's programs and initiatives around assessments, curriculum, instruction, and reporting and analysis into a single user-friendly platform. Schoolnet IMS empowers educators to make informed instructional decisions, deploy a standards-based curriculum to ensure consistent and rigorous instruction, and administer formative assessments to help educators identify needs, differentiate instruction, and track student progress every day. http://www.schoolnet.com/
