Live Field Trip to Ghana, Africa- CILC.org - Cost- $125.00 for a maximum of 100 students. Students will be matched by age level to speak with students from Ghana, Africa. The students in Ghana will present on their country’s flag, food, exports, transportation, language, seasons, etc. CES did this with first grade students and it was AMAZING. By far the best IVC we’ve ever done. The students from Ghana were polite, well spoken, and amazing with our students who were younger than them. If you’ve never seen 100 first graders sit for 1 hour--- this is the way to do it! We will do this every year from now on and I highly recommend this IVC.
All About Matter - www.cilc.org Cost: $140 for 30 students (2nd grade)
This IVC was GREAT!! They sent materials needed and she demonstrated experiments using dry ice and liquid nitrogen. Students did some experiments and observations with bubbles and drops of water on a penny. The students LOVED it.

Great IVC on cells. Presenter showed specimens and lots of pictures. Students learned about the different parts of the cell - organelles. Students drew their own cell with the organelles along with the presenter.
Geology Rocks! - www.cilc.org (Cleveland Museum of Art) Cost: $180 for 30 students (6th grade) GREAT program! Used art work and sculptures to discuss the rock cycle and different types of rocks and minerals. Well worth the money. She kept showing them different parts of the museum and we finally had to say it was time to change class! The kids didn’t care that it was time to change! Be careful == there are 2 called Geology Rocks!
