On Your Marks, Get Set....Field Day Sign-Ups Are Coming!

Spring has finally sprung, and with that comes one of everyone’s favorite volunteer opportunities, the Broadmeadow Field Day 2026! This year's event will be held on Wednesday, June 3 (early release day) from 8:20am to 11:30am. 

As always, we’ll need lots of volunteers to help make the day a success. 

To help you plan ahead, the SignUp Genius link will go live on Tuesday, May 12 at 10:00am (technology permitting).

Here’s what to know before signing up:

-There are 2 separate events which run simultaneously: K/1st/2nd AND 3rd/4th/5th. Please sign up for just one set of stations. There will be separate sections on the SignUp Genius page for each set of events.

- No younger siblings or spectators are allowed for safety and security reasons.

-If you are signing up for multiple people, please be sure to indicate the correct number of volunteers for each section and include names in the comments.

-All volunteers are required to complete the CORI review process. More details will be included with the sign up information.

-There is no rain date, so let’s hope for great weather!

Help Bring Seed City to Life on Saturday, May 9

Broadmeadow's school garden Seed City has brand new garden beds and we need your help to get them ready for planting!

We’re calling on our amazing Broadmeadow families to pitch in and be part of this exciting new chapter.

How You Can Help:

-Donate Yard Waste: Sticks, logs, leaves, and grass clippings will help us build a strong foundation for our garden beds.

-Volunteer to Fill the Beds: Roll up your sleeves and help shovel soil to bring these beautiful beds to life.

Whether you can stay for 15 minutes or 2 hours, every bit of help makes a difference. Expect to get a little dirty.

Yard Waste Donations: please drop off bags directly inside the Seed City gate anytime before Saturday, May 9 at 9:00am.

We will provide some shovels, but if you have one, please bring it along.
