BOOK PALS AND BOOK SWAP

It's time to clean out your shelves! From Monday, May 13th - Wednesday, May 22nd, the PTC is collecting new and gently used books for those in need. We are once again partnering with Brownies for Books, a Needham High School organization that collects books and distributes them to hospitals and shelters in the Greater Boston area. There will be bins placed outside the front door and inside the foyer at car line to collect preschool to adult-level books.

Plus, mark your calendar for our annual Book Swap! If you donate at least one book, you can come to the Performance Center on Thursday, May 23rd after school from 2:45 - 3:45pm or during the Art Show from 6 - 7pm to select a book of your own. The remaining books will be delivered to Brownies for Books. Volunteers are needed to help organize donated books, supervise tables, and pack up donated books at the end of the event. Please click here to volunteer.

ART SHOW

Broadmeadow's annual Art Show is coming up on Thursday, May 23rd from 6 - 7pm! This exciting, impressive event for families provides a wonderful opportunity for students to display their artwork and shows how much creativity is happening in the school through art.

Our Art teacher, Karen DiCenzo, will be gearing up to display one piece of EACH student's artwork in the show. Given the amount of time this takes, we need your help! Please consider signing up for an available time to hang artwork.

Please email Anastasia Sevi at artshow@broadmeadowptc.org with any questions.

CELEBRATE MRS. STALEY AND MRS. GRADY

All current and former Broadmeadow students and families are invited to join Mrs. Staley and Mrs. Grady for a retirement celebration on Tuesday, May 28th from 6 - 7:30pm on the Broadmeadow Playground (or Cafeteria in case of rain). Sweet Tomatoes will be on hand selling slices, mini pizzas, and drinks for $3-13 (cash or Venmo only).

In lieu of gifts, if you are looking for a way to honor these incredible teachers, Mrs. Staley and Mrs. Grady would like to raise money for their favorite charities: Circle of Hope (Mrs. Staley) and Sandy Hook Promise (Mrs. Grady).

We hope to see you there! Please email president@broadmeadowptc.org with any questions.
