Welcome to Photography 1

This course will focus on using techniques such as composition, subject matter,

and tonal range to capture truth in photography and to begin to understand life by looking

through the lens of a camera. Photography gives us the opportunity to look outside of ourselves

and to share a point of view with the world.

A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed.
