SCRIPT

A group of demonstrators with a policeman walking in front of them are crossing the road.

They are carrying placards with slogans: GO AWAY; PEACE NOT WAR; NOT OUR LADS; NO! NO! NO!

The demonstrators cross the street, and camera follows as the policeman steps up onto the kerb.

The demonstrators start to wander across the road.

THOMAS drives up and stops for them, holding up traffic as he waves them across in front of the Rolls-Royce.

Cars held up behind begin to hoot impatiently.

A girl comes up to the Rolls-Royce and slips a placard into the back, tucking it into the folded hood cover, just as THOMAS begins to move again.

On it are the words: GO AWAY.

Traffic passes him, hooting.

THOMAS turns and secures the sign, then smiles at the girl.

THOMAS

That’ll be all right.

He drives off, followed a few seconds later by a gun-metal Rover 2000.
