SCRIPT

THOMAS comes out of the shop door, carrying one end of the huge propeller.

He goes off as the GIRL comes out carrying the other end.

Camera follows her as they cross the street.

GIRL

Is that it?

THOMAS

That’s it.

They go up to the Rolls-Royce.

THOMAS loads the propeller in the back seat, trying to arrange it so that it won’t fall.

GIRL

You can’t treat it like that! It’s not a delivery van.

THOMAS

Who cares?

GIRL

Leave it to me.

She shrugs.

GIRL

Something will turn up.

THOMAS

Yes. All right. But it’d better turn up today. Bye bye.

He gives her back the propeller.

It is far too heavy for her to carry alone and she cannot help dropping it on the ground with a clatter.

THOMAS swings around.

THOMAS

Oy!

Then he gets in the car and starts the engine.
