In this class students will build upon previously learned drawing techniques and skills as you plan for more complex and conceptual artwork. Students will work in a variety of drawing mediums to produce original, well-crafted artwork suitable for inclusion in a portfolio. The focus of class work will be on further developing drawing skills and more individualized conceptual work, aesthetic judgment and developing critical awareness. Artists and art styles past and present and events going on around you and in the world will be used as inspiration as well as provide a global connection.
