Have a go at the LOCKDOWN DANCE CHALLENGE!!
This is a fun way for you and your bubble to be active during lockdown and as we move down the Alert Levels by creating your own dance routine. We have videos for you to learn the dance move, music to perform the moves that you and your whanau choose and finally an opportunity to film yourself and enter the nationwide competition!
Check out the different videos and instructions here.
People all over the world are taking the time to read a story aloud and share it with us all.
Some of these people are famous, some are just like you and me. Some have been doing this for us for a while, some are doing it just for us because of lockdown. Check out these examples in the link below.
Are you going to take up the challenge?! Can you pick your favourite story, record this and share with whanau, your classmates or friends?!
A “cover” is when someone sings someone else’s songs. We are currently living in some uncertain times. We may be feeling some pressure due to the confinements of our bubbles. Let’s break the gloom and sing a song that cheers us up. Record a video of yourself singing an appropriate cover song that conveys a positive message. A message that may help someone lift their spirits in this time of uncertainty.

Mr Simmonds has shared a drawing task, a modelling task and a summative task for UOI 2 with his TechArts group. He has included a video that will help you to understand the summative task.
What do you need to do? You can complete the tasks via Hapara, or you could use the information in these tasks to make a little video clip. How you do it is up to you. Don't forget to load the video to your SPECIALIST page.
