Second Grade Newsletter 9/14/2012

We are excited that we have completed the first month of school, and all specials rotations! Please make sure your child returns the permission form and $5 for Barr Lake on Tuesday, September 25th. Please feel free to join us. We will be learning about man made landforms and the impact of the animals within that environment focusing on the prairie dog. We will be continuing our studies on the prairie dog within a PBL.

Please note that on our field trip to Barr Lake we will be taking photos for a project led by Katie Harwood a photographer who is working on her masters degree. Please send in a camera or device that has SD card or a USB that we can download form. If you do not have a camera we can share.

The majority of families would like to move forward with the TCI Social Studies curriculum. Please send in $14 for your child’s TCI Social Studies online account if you can’t afford to pay, please let us know.
