Dads For Life @ Barker Launch: Bowling at Safra Yishun

The 10th of July 2010 marks a brand new start for the Dads for Life initiative in ACS Barker. The launch was celebrated not just with a fun filled day of bowling at Orchid Bowl Safra Yishun but more importantly with a day of meaningful bonding for father and son. The launch was presided by Mr Richard Seow, Chairman of the ACS Board of Governors & Chairman of the Father Action Network in Singapore. The launch was also a good avenue to share ideas and concepts with parents. Learning was also a central theme of the event. Mr Seow was on hand to share his experiences on the role of the father in today's hectic lifestyle. Mr Phua CJ then shared with parents the benefits of active fathering and how it benefits the family as a whole. Students and parents who went on a father and son CIP trip to Cambodia also shared their experiences on bonding through meaningful activities.

All in all, there was a good amount of sharing and learning coupled with a fun filled day of bowling and bonding. We are proud of the successful launch of the Dads For Life initiative in ACS Barker and look forward to your continued support!
