ACS Family Movie Day 2022

The movie screening was held at Shaw Lido with staggered movie screening times. Before the movie screening, movie goers were greeted by 4 dinosaur mascots! The mascots were well received by movie goers, and many took the opportunity to snap a selfie or just a picture with friends. Many also took group photos at the standee featuring our ACS Clock Tower and school crest. 

ACS CIP merchandise was available for sale. The merchandise will continue to be available while stocks last, and all proceeds will go towards the improvement of the Barker Road campus.

The event turnout was good. Besides friends and members of the ACS family attending the screening, we had generous donors who had purchased tickets and donated them to Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home, Methodist Welfare Services, and lower income families from the Moulmein-Cairnhill community as well as our own financially challenged students. 

Before the start of the movie, Mr Loo Ming Yaw, principal of ACS (Barker Road) and Mrs Leong-Ho Hil May, principal of ACS (Primary) thanked movie goers in the various movie halls for their support. All enjoyed the movie, popcorn and drinks that came with the tickets.

Indeed, It was a truly memorable event!
