More Information on the 30 Hour Famine Camp (For Students Sec 3 & above only)

The 30 Hour Famine Camp is Singapore’s largest and longest running camp and World Vision’s flagship youth education programme. Every year, an average of 1,000 students from about 60 schools in Singapore go through immersive games and team-based challenges, while fasting from solid food. As an international youth movement, Famine Camp involves more than 1.5 million youths worldwide.

Over the past 30 years, Famine Camp has been educating and empowering youths to raise awareness about ending hunger and poverty through experiential learning activities. This year, with the theme of “Hungry to Help”, the Camp will equip youths with social leadership skills and values like empathy, endurance and gratitude by creating learning opportunities that allow Singapore youths to step into the shoes of children struggling to escape war, desperate poverty, child labour and health crises.
