Minecraft And More

There are so many kids who play video games. Not just kids, adults, too. People of all ages. Elementary schoolers, Middle schoolers and even high schoolers play video games. And a very common one (loved by many) is Minecraft. A video game where the adjective of it is to build your base, survive against monsters, and unlock new achievements to pursue more into the game. And Rho is one of Minecraft's more than 200 million players who has played the game and found joy in it.

Video games have been a very common memory of many people. Including Rho, who, when asked what his favorite memory was, answered, “Honestly, there’s too many for me to pick just one, when I first got Minecraft. It’s still one of my favorites.” And like many others who play the game and find some positive outcome in the game, Rho was asked how he felt about Minecraft. Like if it made him happy or brought him joy. “All of the above.” He answered.

Many people have many different hobbies. Those hobbies usually make someone feel more positive or they enjoy it in some way. Rho was asked what his favorite hobby was and the reason behind that hobby. “I really like Minecraft because I really like building stuff.” There is a reason behind everyone’s favorite hobby. This was Rho’s reason when playing Minecraft: “I really like to play it when I’m not feeling good.” He said “It makes me feel very creative.”

There are many people who don’t play Minecraft. They may experience different feelings when playing it for the first time whereas someone like Rho, who plays it more often, finds it enjoyable. “I think someone else would be curious if they played Minecraft.” 

There’s more to Rho than Minecraft. He was asked, “If you had to have a superpower, what would it be?” His response, “I would want to have a force field because it’s cool.”

People worldwide believe that there are a lot of changes that need to be made in the world. If Rho could change anything out of many issues and inconveniences, in the world, he says, “I would honestly like homeless people to not be homeless anymore.” An occurrence that has been happening around the world since the 1640’s. However, it has been recognized as a worldwide issue, as we know as the more modern term “homeless”, since the 1980’s.

A dream job is another thing many people spend their time planning in their life. For Rho, he says that if he were to have a dream job it would be “A pizza maker because I like making pizza.” Rho has mentioned when asked what his favorite food is, “Pizza and I cannot recall the first time I've ever eaten it because I've eaten it so many times in my life.” 

Even though the colors of pizza are primarily red and yellow, that’s not Rho’s favorite color. “My favorite color is purple.” He says “It makes me feel good and it reminds me of purple crystals because they are cool.” Purple crystals can also be found in many different areas of Minecraft. The “End Crystal” has been known in Minecraft for healing and summoning the Ender Dragon. Another thing in Rho’s life that leads to his love for Minecraft.

A name - something people are called or how you would get their attention. Something you stand with that your parents pick for you when you are first born. A title that represents you. Rho’s meaning behind his name and what makes Rhonin Rho: “They wanted to give me a name that was unique.”
