You are permitted to bring team uniforms and smaller sport equipment into residence rooms, provided they are bagged and kept in your room. Equipment bags must be personal size and easily moveable. Larger bags present a tripping hazard and may hamper exit routes or access to emergency equipment. For safety and property protection, you are not permitted to use equipment in the residence; any violations will be addressed with Mission Teams and Host Society staff.
On arrivals, trucks stationed at the airport will transport all checked baggage and sport equipment to the Games Village. Once arriving at the Village, sport equipment going to sport venues will be organized and sent to their respective sport venues. All other equipment will be stored in sea cans located in the parking lot in the middle of the Science Building at Memorial University. Access to this area will be arranged with Coaches and Mission staff.
As competitions conclude for the week, sport equipment brought to the venue by the Host Society will be returned to sea cans in the Village by Host Society. All other items are the responsibility of P/T teams to return to the Village. On departure day, all checked bags and sport equipment will be brought to the airport.
