Medical Services are available at the Polyclinic located at the University Center, UC3015 between 7am-11pm daily. Nurses and physicians will be on call overnight and available at (709)-570-2630

In order to support a variety of needs we will have a variety of Mental Health spaces at the Village. The Mental Health Desk will be located on the first floor of the Arts and Culture and participants can sign out self care tools such as yoga mats, journaling supplies, fidgets, ear plugs, colouring kits, origami, and more. At the Bruneau Centre in room 3001, you will find a decreased sensory space, with tools, kits, and supplies. Additionally, activities such as yoga, meditations and crafts will also be scheduled at various times at the Village and will be noted in the entertainment schedule.
Services at competition venues have been identified in collaboration with each sport so will vary. Each competition venue will have an athlete medical space identified. All taping will also take place at the competition venues so please allow time before warming up. KinesioTape, and variations of, will not be provided by Medical Services. If an athlete would like to use this type of product, they must provide their own and Medical Services can assist in application.
Ice will be available at competition venues for medical purposes only. It is not for water bottles, consuming, ice baths, etc.
Infection Prevention and Control is an important consideration at any gathering and
it is important that any symptoms and illnesses are reported to the Polyclinic. This is including but not limited to skin conditions, respiratory illnesses, gastrointestinal illnesses, suspected foodborne illnesses, etc. Please consult the Polyclinic if you suspect any issue.
