Each P/T mission team has one or more Mission team communications staff who
assist National Sport Organization (NSO) Sport Information Officers (SIO) in arranging media interviews with athletes. Please note that while athletes are encouraged to participate in interviews, they are not required to do so. Refer any questions to your appropriate P/T representative.
Each competition venue has a media mixed zone close to the field of play where interviews with athletes and media may occur post-competition. Requests for interviews with specific athletes and coaches are requested through the Media Centre at the venue to the Sport Information Officer (SIO).
Media do not have access to the Games Village.

Broadcasting Overview & Schedule
Under the direction of the 2025 Canada Games Host Society and Technical Producer with support from our production partners at Universum Media Inc and SportsCanada.TV, the 2025 Canada Games will provide extensive live and/or on-demand coverage that will be available for free to all Canadians at canadagames.ca/watch. CBC, SRC and NTV will also simulcast select coverage.
The broadcast strategy for these Games is to feature as many sports as possible, as well as the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, either live or on demand through extensive daily coverage and to maximize viewership by making the content accessible online to Canadians.
Where enhanced coverage is in place, broadcasts will include commentary and graphics, and will be available for viewers in both English and French.
Our aim in the Village is to provide multiple broadcast sites where you can sit and watch or catch up on competitions as you are passing by.
