Ravelled was presented at the University of Idaho Prichard Art Gallery as part of the College of Art and Architecture Faculty Exhibition in December, 2013. The band is 21” high, 48 ‘ long, printed digitally in six foot sections. All the drawings in the work were made in north central Idaho; nevertheless, I see influence from my travels, especially my admiration of Islamic tiles. Images made in previous years and new ones created specifically for the project are mixed together. I chose Ravelled for the title because it is a word that has opposite definitions: a) untangled b) tangled.
