MoreThan One Year was installed at the Appaloosa Horse Museum in Moscow, Idaho in 2011. Twenty- two vertical strips made up of photocopy prints filled a 26 foot long curved wall. The prints incorporated drawings of items seen in the museum, regional landscapes, and drawings made in my home. For me, shifting colors suggested five seasons: from one spring through another. The arrangement of the strips was influenced by the organic, mobile quality of Indian artifacts on display: feather headdresses, fringed leather jackets.
