Solar System

City Planner Steve Watson invited me to use storefront windows in a Lewiston, Idaho, building under renovation in the summer of 2009. Neon artist George Wray collaborated on the project. Each circle was a collage of black and white photocopy prints roughly 80 inches in diameter. Neon tubes placed behind the window dividers cast colored light onto the edges of the circles; soft white floodlights lit their centers. The drawings used in the prints were all made in nearby Latah and Nez Perce counties.
