Following up on experience gained making the installation Solar Systemthe previous year, I collaborated a second time with neon artist George Wray to create this much larger storefront window installation in Portland, Oregon, in the summer of 2010. The installation wrapped around a large building from 5th Avenue onto Alder Street. I reused two of the circles made for Solar System and designed seven more circles 48”to 90” in diameter with experimental black and white photocopy prints developed from drawings made in Sweden and Spain. The circles were lit by neon light and soft white flood lights. Abstract neon designs developed by Wray surrounded three large doorways. The installation was lit 24/7.

Portland artist Glenn Larsen curated the project. An Idaho Commission on the Arts Quick Funds helped cover the costs.
