You and the world is a singular process. The world can not be vouchsafed without 'you'. and 'you' is all the time subject to death(not-being). We are conscious against being non-conscious. It is known against the unknown. Known plus unknown is the totality. When brain has a touch with the unknown, one sees continuous destruction and renewal. When the totality is seen (known and unknown), one sees the whole game as 'live' and not with a sense of fear or aloofness. One is not separate from the process (destruction and renewal).By talking about the end of the world, one is simply trying to ward off the stress of 'not-being', which is all the time with you.

Now one sees oneself as not different from the 'whole', which includes destruction and renewal and so on.
