Truth can not be understood by any positive explanation. It strikes ‘when suddenly all explanations are stopped’ on facing a favourable or unfavourable situation.

Life is interesting even when all your calculations are going wrong. You are alive and experiencing ‘something’ is life energy, is your attunement to all possibilities.

We see disorder outside. We can take action. Mind is enamoured as if by dealing with outside disorder, order within will be established-one will be happy. But within you there can be no disorder. Even if you perceive disturbance within, it is ‘you’- it is in the field accessible to you only. The disturbance within is in the format, which can not be acted upon. If you see this, supreme relaxation takes over. Now you can take action in respect of the outer disorder.

‘You’ and the outer is a singular process and not that outer exists independent of ‘you’. It is dependent arising. Mind is enamoured as if some moments are unstable, unsatisfactory, hence keeps on seeking by ideas, explanations. Seeing the dependent arising, seeing the oneness transforms the whole view. One sees (auto)-disturbance and (auto)-adjustment from moment to moment.

Can one see that thought is simply a description of something, some feeling, some experience, some movement?

It comes under the illusion as if it is giving impetus to act, thus remains busy in justifying or condemning.

‘What should be done’ or ‘what should not be done’ is conflict of the mind.

Mind seeks comfort, satisfaction out of this conflict of ‘what should be done’ or ‘what should not be done’. This comfort is illusory. ‘Doing’ or ‘not doing’ is a complete movement.

Now impetus to action comes from the energy itself-a relaxed and conscious action.

We are apt to feel comfortable by labeling any discomforting situation as ‘wrong’. If this comfort is kept at bay-one can take relaxed action in any situation. But this can not be imposed upon others. The issue is over when you yourself see this.

If we feel satisfied in deprecating evil, we bind ourselves to evil. If we do not feel superior while dealing with evil in any manner, we establish no relationship with evil. Evil evaporates. Then simple operation of facts does not trouble us.

Whatever you experience in the body and brain-anger, anxiety, fear, confusion, pleasure-is the movement of energy. Thought intervenes to accept or reject by ideas, explanations as if it is the controller. When this intervention is noticed, it vanishes; the self-sustained movement of energy takes over. Thought is restricted to its actual work-to describe, to communicate. Now action arises as relaxed and conscious.

Clarity is not given. To see clarity in confusion is the function of the mind. To see order in chaos is the function of the mind. This function of the mind can not be undone. When you do not reject, explain away confusion, chaos, which you are experiencing-clarity, order emerges.

The unequivocal understanding that you can not settle with the world (through possessions, relations, situations, ideas) settles you with yourself. Now you can operate in the world as you want.

One feels miserable when one wants to control, confirm, secure ‘what is going to happen’. One does not face the unpleasant thoughts about failures, losses, accidents or about any untoward. Letting these thoughts arise is to let them fizzle out. The whole energy is concentrated here.

The human predicament can not be solved by any possessions, techniques or ideas but when you see yourself a unique experiencing entity. That is, ‘you and the outer’ is bound as a singular process. The process can not stop at a satisfactory point. One tastes supreme relaxation.

There is only ‘what is’ from moment to moment. All else is ‘memory and imagination’. Growth is only in ‘memory and imagination’. Senses experience the ‘live’ moment, the ‘live’ enjoyment. The enjoyment, the relief through ‘memory and imagination’ is only through comparison. The ‘live’ enjoyment is vitiated when enjoyment, relief through ‘memory and imagination’ overwhelms. In the natural setting, comparison through ‘memory and imagination’ spur one to experience the ‘new’.

There is existence as senses perceive. Can be seen, touched, listened, felt and so on. Now the question-'what is existence', 'what is all this happening (liked or disliked) is a thought about existence. When you investigate the source of thought-you find 'nothing' there.

Loss, failure, defame keep the brain in check so that it may not get inflated and exhausted due to success, gain, praise. The constant friction generates energy for evolution. One does not notice this as one is constantly engaged in rejecting the uneasiness generated by loss, failure, defame by ideas, explanations. Clearly seeing this connects one to oneself, to the Original.

We seek relief by eliminating, escaping anxiety, sadness. Transformation happens when we are relaxed amidst anxiety, sadness. And you can be relaxed when you see that you want to feel the comfort of solving something, which can not be dealt with, solved now. This comfort vanishes on being noticed. The unsolvable friction between now and future, tomorrow is life energy. To see this is supreme relaxation. One is attuned to automation.

Feeling of insecurity, confusion, anger, anxiety, pleasure, happiness are the characteristics of mind, are the signs of being alive. There is no way these characteristics can be undone or selected. The illusion wants to hold pleasure, happiness and reject pain, confusion and so on. They have to be faced ‘as they are’, not to be escaped by ideas, explanations including the idea of God-to come to authentic living. The endless friction of pleasure (inflation) and pain (deflation) is the original energy, the inexhaustible energy. Seeing this is supreme relaxation. One is attuned to automation.

The idea of suffering is created when you want to feel comfortable in respect of ‘what is troubling you’ by binding it to cause and effect explanations or you want to feel comfortable in respect of something, which can not be dealt with or solved now. Seeing the illusoriness of this comfort instantly connects you to the Original ground, the non-linear energy. Now any action is relaxed and conscious.

Your self-imposed interest, self-imposed responsibility, your self-imposed passion is your complete security and not any ideation or possession. Otherwise, one acts compulsively and waits for relieved state through possessions, ideas, entertainment and so on. The relieved state does not come as brain works as momentum. When the wait drops, fused state takes over. Now self-imposed interest, passion is automatically created, is your effortless expression. One is the creative impulse of the Universe now.

Mind is sustained by the element of wonder and not by the comfort of sureties, certainties, conclusions. Can you notice that in every happening, there is an element which surprises you positively or negatively? To become aware of this element is one’s attunement to infinite possibilities.

The idea of failure troubles one only when one wants to feel satisfied about the future, about the result now. When this satisfaction is seen as illusory, one is comfortable with uncertainty. This comfortableness is spirituality. Action is effortless, ambling now as the energy is not frittered in covering up uncertainty. One is attuned to the ever functional state. Action is passion now. Otherwise one acts compulsively and seeks (under the illusion) for the relieved state through results, entertainment, possessions or spiritual activities.

The unbridgeable Gap

Anxiety, fear, confusion, stress means there is an unbridgeable gap between ‘now’ and future, tomorrow, between ‘now’ and your imagination. Can you see this gap? Can you be comfortable with this gap, this unknown margin? This comfortableness instantly connects you to the limitless field-the field of all possibilities. There is integration inside. Your imagination has meaning now. It gets clear. You can be relaxed, creative only when you are comfortable with this gap, otherwise one is trying to solace the mind to cover up the unpleasantness, one is experiencing.
