Camp Chase vols. 69-72
These records come from the Camp Chase record books volumes 69-72. All of these names are "citizens", except perhaps for Stephen Strother, who seems to straddle "citizen" and "soldier". Some may have been teamsters, others citizens scouting for Confederate troops. I have not included any Confederate soldiers to my knowledge, as almost all are marked in the books as "citizen". Where there were charges made I have noted them, most have no charges against them. Soldiers are usually marked with their rank and unit information so it is easy to exclude them. Names will be added as I have the time, there are several hundred to go on this page. I have included the page number for the record so if you have an interest in a particular individual I would suggest you view the original record, there may be slightly more information, though I have included almost all except for some few indecipherable notations. The records for Nehemiah G. Holmes and Alexander Waddle were on several different pages and I consolidated them into single entries.
